Poster Design Competition

To all IITians,

NSS IITD  and BloodConnect have been trying to motivate people to donate blood voluntarily for the cause of humanity. We have been providing you lot of opportunities to save lives. Now it is your turn to motivate people to come forward. We give you an opportunity to inspire people to donate blood. Run your creative minds, give color your thoughts, we're floating a Poster Design competition based on theme "Voluntary Blood Donation". The themes, competition rules, and judging criteria are as follows:

Themes:
Choose any one of the following themes:

1. Donate Blood
We all know we should but only few of us do. It is something that motivates us to do so, please let others know. 

2. You don't have to be a superman to save lives.
A donation saves three lives, but this fact is not strong enough to inspire people. Make them feel proud is the one way, or make them feel superman is the other. 


Competition Rules:

1. You can submit hand-made posters as well as PSDs (JPEG images).

2. Only individual participation is allowed.

3. Multiple entries are permitted. 

4. Posters should be created in A3 size.

5. No restrictions on the designing software used or craft materials (crayons, watercolors etc.)
6. Only original artwork would be considered. Please note that you cannot copy any other logo except BloodConnect & NSS's logo for this competition. 

7. Deadline: for PSDs: 1st march 2013, 11:59pm.

                    for hand-made posters: 1st march 2013, 5:00pm

Prizes and appreciations:  

Selected entries would be rewarded suitably with token of appreciation. The best posters will be featured in India Habitat Center exhibition on 30th March  and will be displayed in all the Blood Donation Camps organized by BloodConnect. 

Judging Criteria:
Your entries will be judged based upon your creativity, design, and content. Decision of NSS IIT Delhi would be final.

Participation:

To participate, drop your entry as a high quality JPEG image to nssi...@gmail.com with subject as "Poster Design Competition_Your Name_Entry Number". Keep the PSD file safe with you. 

You can also submit the hand-made posters to us by the above mentioned deadline. The hand-made entries will be collected in Ex-hall between 3.30 to 5:00 pm, on 1st march 2013, 5:00pm.

You can also come to us and design the poster we will provide the necessary materials, for this the venue and time details are as below: 

Venue: WS213 and WS209, 

Time: 5-8 pm, 

Day: 28-2-2013 (Thursday).

Please note:

Deadline has been extended to 11:59pm, 11th march 2013 (till the end of semester break).

You can send PSDs(JPEG) as well as hand-made posters. You can also mail the picture of hand-made posters to us.
