"Nurturing Trees Nurturing Lives Campaign"
in association with
UNICEF and aidmatrix foundation, India
Dear Friends,
The Aidmatrix Foundation, India, working for humanitarian objectives through Communications, Partnerships & Technology for accelerating and increasing the capacity of our partners to deliver humanitarian relief to communities we serve and who need it the most.
"The Nurturing Trees Nurturing Lives
campaign" is aimed at focusing attention on the need to protect children
against polio and other vaccine preventable life threatening diseases by
taking all the vaccines being offered under the Government’s Routine Immunization programme. As part of the campaign, we propose to have children and community
leaders plant saplings, pledge to take care of their saplings for a
healthy environment and also pledge to spread awareness on the need to
protect children with lifesaving vaccines being offered under the
Governments routine Immunisation (RI) programme, for a healthy life.
The Tree would be synonymous of a child who needs to be nurtured and
protected against life threatening diseases, just as the Tree needs to
be regularly watered and cared to grow into a healthy tree.
We would like to invite every students, faculty and staff to join us and share their hands in this plantation drive for noble cause.
