Blood Donation Trip to Safdarjung

 

Date: 16th march, (Saturday) 

Time: morning, 10.00a.m

Every year our nation requires about 1 Crore units of blood, out of which there is a shortage of 20 lakh units of blood.

To save lives you need not be a super hero, you only need to donate blood. A donation saves three lives.

You can be a part of this noble deed through NSS IITD which is continuing its weekly Blood Donation Trips to Safdarjung.

A group of students will be leaving for Safdarjung Hospital from IIT hostel gate. They will be picked up from Hostel gate and dropped back to IIT Delhi.

Few guidelines before blood donation:

• Have a good breakfast.
• Have proper sleep on the night before.
• Do not take alcoholic drinks for at least past 24 hours
• You should not have taken any medicine/drugs in last week.
