As our premier institute enters the 50th year of its foundation, NSS BITS Pilani aims to reignite the values of giving back to the society on which the founder, late Mr. G.D. Birla built the institute. On behalf of NSS BITS Pilani, student organizers of the National Youth Conference, it is my pleasure to invite you to judge the final round of paper presentations at this year’s conference on 15th & 16th February 2014 in BITS Pilani, Pilani campus.
The conference will comprise of guest lectures, a panel discussion, paper presentation, debates and NSS convention. The theme of the conference is “Role of Youth as Nation Builders“. The objective of the Papers is to motivate the youth of India to be active participants in the nation building process by presenting their views on the given sub-themes:
§ Separatists Movement: A threat to national identity.
§ NGO’s and the Red Corridor: A development or failure.
§ Role of Digital Media in conscience building.
§ Armed Forces: A differential Motivation among Rural viz-a-viz Urban Youth.
§ Role and importance of youth in rural development.
§ MGNREGA – A necessary Evil.
§ Involvement of women in the democratic process.
You being the editor of such a reputed journal, <Name of Journal > and an expert in the field of social papers, will be able to correctly judge the better of all presentations. Also, it would highly motivate the presenters, if you could help get some of these papers published in your journal.
We assure you that the organizers of the conference will work incessantly and put their sincere efforts to make the National Youth Conference a success. I hope that you will give us the honor of hosting you at BITS Pilani.
