Executive Summary of Recent Updates

1.       Toshi didi has arranged around 1 lakh as sponz through her personal contacts.

2.       Institute may help us with Panellists and related expenses. This is saving of another lakh or so.

3.       Vinod Rai is our most likely inaugural keynote speaker.

4.       Several multiple leads are being pursued for panellists, other than sponz, we need most guidance from seniors on this front.

5.       Work on Website and Promotional video has begun. They should be both ready asap. 

6.       Call for Papers (Paper presentation) is being sent right now via email.

7.       BITSMUN and QED have agreed in principle to cooperate with us. We are calling the dibs on 5103. 

Seniors, please add or correct on the information above.

Everyone please check the database file once . If anyone meets or chats with his or her friends in different colleges during the holidays , Please tell them about the event and ask them casually what would be the best way to reach to the students of their college. If anyone gets any news do let me know . 

Start on a FB page for the event too . Most of the colleges are closed right now . The best way that the people are suggesting is through social media only .

Also I need the specifics on each event which can be put up on the website, any wrong info that I have put and on how you are planning on registration.

Hey all.
its good to see such progress in our work on Youth Conference.

Do keep up the work.
While I do appreciate so many of you working, can't we involve first years in this?

Think about this. Have an opinion from your batchmates.

and Involve a few first years in the holidays preferably in the first week so that they can see some work happening.

1. The internal hyperlink isn't working. 
2. I guess, we can remove debates panel for now.
3. The Registration Portal, when up should ask for the following minimum details:

a Name

b Email

c Phone No

d College Name and Postal Address

e Degree Pursuing (Name of Course)/ Student/ Faculty

f How'd they come to know about YC? Word of mouth/poster/email/social networking
4. we need to make this site optimal for all screen versions, specially mobile versions. We should make this our top priority for now!

Thanks for the suggestions. Was busy with some other work for the last couple of days so couldn't work on the website..

A few pts on which I need some info:

1. Debates: If we are not planning to have debates I will remove the frame. If there are chances that we may have it I'll keep them.

2. Twitter and Facebook page: Please give me a link to these pages. I had put dummy links for both.

3. Sponsors: I think I'll be needed to create a space for sponsors. Yes/No. Need details of them.

4. BITS MUN/50 years of BITS : Do we need to mention them somewhere.

-twitter and fb links will b given to u by tomorrow (Shubham would be taking care of that)

-let the debate panel b there at the end !im talking to QED (Debsoc)

-sponsor's panel at last has to be made but it will be empty now as we haven't finalised yet the sponsors!!

-no BITSMUN and no golden jubilee mentioning till we get anything from the institute !!

Ppl add more if I missed anything !!

Also, if you could modify the event details based on what shimee has shared for NSS Convention, and the paper presentation based on call for papers. 
Debates are being worked out for the time being, so let them be. also, we're almost final with the video. you think you could incorporate that on the main home tab of the website? Just an idea...
