Food4Thought - A Concept worth a Thought

Food4Thought is a foundation with a purpose to connect idle books to hungry minds, restore endangered books & stories, reignite the joy of reading and build school & community libraries. In this endeavor, Mobile Library concept is being built in IITD. Under this, books of all genres, for all ages would be taken to the people (specially those who have no access) and the long lost habit of reading would be revived.

What is in store for you?

As a volunteer in the project, one would have to visit nearby locations, take books along with bundles of hope and joy, encourage reading, help people out choose their tale,conduct some joy of reading sessions and record all observations. The volunteer would have to analyse various reading patterns of different locations and varying age groups. At the end of his/her volunteering, one has to document all his/her observations, learning and analysis in the form of a Research Paper on Reading Habits.

The volunteering will enhance your communication skills, sharpen your observations, improve your analysis and ensure a satisfaction to have delivered the "joy of reading".

More than anything else you will get to be Bond. The motto for our volunteers being #IamBond - Breathing Oxygen iN Decomposed Books.
