"Dengue Treasure Hunt"

Why is Dengue Awareness Important?

As you are aware that Dengue is becoming a threat to the whole society, both economically and socially. Last year, there were more than thousand notified cases while there was an equally big number that was not in records probably. This year, the current number is already exceeding last year data and we all need to take necessary and timely actions at various levels. It is encouraging to understand that such a dangerous disease can be controlled heavily by simple preventive measures at individual and organization level.

About the Event

The event will start with 15-20 minutes interactive discussion on general things on Dengue. During the discussions, various types of species of mosquitoes will also be shown in order to identify them more easily. The discussion will be followed by a Dengue Treasure Hunt in the campus in order to identify Dengue prone areas, with the help of trainers of MCD, So that requisite action can be taken on sanitation of those detected areas.
