Greetings from NSS IIT Delhi!

NSS IIT Delhi presents Summer social Internship in 11 NGOs. Their names are as follows:

• Hazard Center
• Goonj
• Youth For Seva
• Craftpreneur
• Center For Civil Society
• Sshrishti
• Agewell Foundation
• People For Parity
• Mohan Foundation
• Vidyalaya

Procedure to start the internship:

1) You have to register for the internship by filling up the form attached with the mail. You have been asked 3 preferred NGOs of your choice.

2) If you are not selected in your most preferred NGO then you will be sent to the second most preferred NGO. If you are not selected in the second most preferred NGO then this process will be repeated for the third most preferred NGO.

Please note that the deadline for filling up the form is 22nd April.

Important points to be taken care of during the internship:

1. Each and every person is expected to follow these points while on an internship:

a.) Prepare the daily report of the internship. This daily report must contain the type of work done by you explained briefly.

b.) Take the pics to support your work.

2. After the completion of an internship, you are expected to submit the combined report to NSS IITD by mailing it to us at interns...@gmail.com with the subject “Internship Report”. The details are given on our website.
Mail the SCANNED certificate from the NGO, and the pictures taken while working on the internship in the same mail.

3. After this, an interview will be scheduled, after which the hours will be awarded.

Hours Policy:

• Maximum Hours you can get through internship is 70 hours which will be allotted only after the interviews conducted by NSS IITD on a later date from the end date of your internship.

Note:

• If you fail to provide the report on the above lines - you will be liable to deduction of hours.
• If you fail to give an interview/report on the assigned time - you will be awarded ZERO HOURS for the internship. No query will be entertained further.
• Any FRAUDULENT cases will lead to NEGATIVE HOURS and further disciplinary action as per Institute rules.
• Kindly take a note of the existing policies of NSS IIT Delhi for the Internships.A copy of the same policy in a more detailed format is available at http://nss.iitd.ac.in/internship.html.
• You are free to pursue a self arranged internship if it is approved by NSS IITD. Kindly visit NSS IITD website for more details.
• NSS IITD will not be responsible for your accommodation and food during internship period. You are requested to arrange for the same yourself.
• Just filling up the form doesn't guarantee your selection for Internship, you will undergo the selection procedure of the NGO after which you will be eligible for internship in it.
