NSS IITD, TRIPP and Indian Road Safety Campaign present Technical Internship on Road Safety

About the Road Safety Initiative :
Indian Road Safety Campaign and NSS IITD aims to sensitize the youth about various dimensions of road safety in India and how we need to deal with it. We want the people to know that being SAFE ON ROADS is in one's own hand and that little care on our part can help authorities implement better road safety in India.
About the Internship :
Since we are studying in the premier technical institute of India so it is our duty to contribute to the society technically. Keeping this in mind, this internship aims for making Indian Roads safer by using our technical skills and creating some innovative design which can be implemented on a large scale. For this, we have a list of road related topics given by various faculty members working in the field of road safety. You are allowed to work on some other road related topic but it must be approved by NSS before you can start working on it.
What you need to do in the Internship ?
- Select your most preferred and second most preferred topic from the given topics.
- Fill up the form to register yourself for this intern.
- You will be shortlisted based on your preference and the answers to the questions.
- Interview can also be conducted if required.
- Shortlisted candidate/group will be connected with the concerned professors who will guide them throughout the internship.
- Interview/presentation will be organised which will be judged by the jury consisting of various experts in Road Safety.
- This internship is different from the Summer Road Safety Internship floated earlier.
- Number of hours given will depend on the extent the project has been completed and the level of hard work put in by the group.
- Either no or 2 design credits can be availed
- If a group want then they can extend the project till the next semester in order to complete it.
- Hostel Accommodation will be provided to all groups who are selected for internship.
- Mess fees of best 5 groups will be reimbursed.
