Youth Adda on Why Stereotypes?

About PRAVAH:

Pravah is an organisation based in New Delhi, India, working to impact issues of social justice through youth citizenship action. Pravah believes that sustainable social change emanates from individuals. Change them or their orientation and the system will change. Developing in young people the relevant values, attitudes and skills, will therefore bring about long-term changes.

 About Youth Adda: 

• Have you ever felt like you are stereotyping something?
  
• Where is it being generated from?
  
• Ever wondered what impact does that stereotyping cause to the society or to the people around you?
  
• Are you being inclusive enough in the society?
  

In the Youth Adda – “Why Stereotypes?”, through the medium of discussions, activities and sessions we’ll be aiming to explore and understand the word “Stereotype" and from where it’s being generated. It aims to create a space for young people to come and talk about their own experiences, share their own stories and challenge their own notions! 

So let’s come together and try to raise our voice and take a stand to create an inclusive society!
