Survey of Munirka Community

About Munirka Community work : 

Munirka is a slum near IIT Delhi.  The vision of the project is to make Munirka a self-reliant community. To find the problems existing in the community, reasons behind their existence and find out the ways of solving them and also to make them aware of their rights like RTE, RTI etc. and use such public policies for the development of the community. 

About Survey: 

The main objective of the survey is to know the perception of the people in Munirka about the problems existing in the society. To know hindrances existing in the community for solving that problem. 

About Volunteering :

It's not just a  survey form to be filled by the people in the community. You need to interact with the community and fill the responses based on their answers. There will a training session before the survey, it's compulsory for everyone to attend the session

How will you benefit :

• An exposure to urban slum and real world problems.
  
• An opportunity to develop interaction skills.
• An experience of working in a team with your fellow mates.

Start Date: 28th May, 2016

Duration: 7 days

Location: R.K. Puram, Sector-3 (Munirka slums)
