 introduces you to 

App Development Opportunity with Delhi Government

Delhi Government is soon going to set up around 3000 Mohalla Rakshak Dals all over Delhi consisting of around 24000 volunteers (8 per group), who shall be deployed in different areas shiftwise for doing watch and ward duties and giving assistance to the needy/sr. citizens/women. This work is being handled by one of the District Magistrates of Delhi.

The proposed App among others will have following features:
1. Giving the location of the Dal.
2. Recording the attendance of the members of the Dal.
3. Linking the Dals with other ESFs so that emergency messages can be flashed quickly.
4. Integration with other Apps if any

Students who have some prior experience and interested in working on this App development project for next couple of months including summer vacation can register here.

Deadline: 17th April, 11:59 p.m.

Note:

1. You can either gain NSS bulk hours (50 or 0) or 2 Design Credits through the project.

2. Experience in App making is necessary. Please fill the application form seriously mentioning all your app making experiences in detail.

3. You will be required to perform various ground level surveys as well.

4. Languages known : JAVA, C++ , C# etc.

5. Softwares known : Android studio. Xamarin etc

6. Good idea of UI/UX design is also required.
