mem-queue-size config

hey guys,

sorry to spam for this, but just want to confirm that mem-queue-size is global for all topic/channel in the nsqd instance? there isnt a way to have a different config value for particular topics?

ideally, we'd like to drop the mem-queue-size to 0 (to be safe) for some named topics, but not for all. just curious...

Yea, that would be useful but unfortunately not currently possible.

I would suggest just setting it to 0 and not worrying too much about performance until it’s actually an issue.  Depending on how your topology is setup, the fact that their are most often so many “shards” (instances) running that you’ll be fine.
