Problems on macOS 15.4 RC with clipboard recording

Has anyone tested their clipboard recording feature in the latest beta / RC of 15.4?

A user notified me that nothing gets recorded any more, and when I then installed 24E247 into a VM on a Silicon Mac, iClip failed to record anything, indeed.

However, after adding iClip manually to a few security settings (Full Disk Access, Accessibility, Automation, Input Monitoring), it worked. I then removed all these settings again and it still worked, even after a macOS restart. So, the behavior is inconsistent and my user says that while it now works with (Apple) apps like Safari, it still fails with Firefox. OTOH, for me it works with FF.

I can't make sense of it. So, please make a test with the latest 15.4 yourself to see if you run into similar issues, and maybe share your findings here.

If Apple broke something in this area, it affects all of us.

Hi Thomas,

On 15.4, NSPasteboard API seems to be working fine on my test machine, as it ever has done. However I have had an email from one user who is running into some trouble on 15.4, which appears to be pasteboard related. I'm still going through a diagnostic process with him.
