Electronic Waste Recycling
From the West High School Green Club:
We wanted to let you know that the West High School Green Club, joined by teams from Memorial and Middleton, is hosting an electronic waste drive at Rennebohm Park on Sunday, January 12th, from 9am to 3pm to help recycle old electronics instead of sending them to the landfill. This is a great opportunity for everyone in the community to offload old technology. We will accept most e-waste, except very large items like televisions and ovens. The Madison Mallards have notified us that their plans for 2025 (including fireworks) will be heard by the Board of Parks Commissioners this week. The Board of Park Commissioners meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at 330 E Lakeside St. Agenda items include approving the Madison Mallards request for firework displays for the 2025 Mallards and Night Mares season at Warner Park Stadium.The meeting information is available

Neighborhood Meeting with Annex Group and Alder Amani about 2150 Commercial Ave
The Annex Group is proposing a development at 2150 Commercial Ave, currently envisioned as a five-story, multi-family building with 251 affordable apartments (1, 2 and 3 bedrooms) and a parking garage. Alder Amani has arranged a neighborhood meeting to hear more about the proposal and provide feedback.
