1) Transportation Committee:

We welcome neighbors to submit areas of traffic concern and we'll dig into which areas have already had a traffic study done and/or which we would advocate should have a traffic study done. The goal is to pick maybe 2 areas as a committee this year to prioritize, bring those picks to a full NA meeting, vote on them, and submit formal advocacy to the city from the NA if they pass. 2) Earth Day Cleanup:

Join the efforts of North Street Neighborhood Association in cleaning up our neighborhoods for Earth Day! Meet us at North Street and Commercial Avenue (butterfly gardens - across from Tip Top) on Saturday 4/26/25 at 10:00AM for supplies and head out with friends and neighbors to pick up trash in parks, along neighborhood streets and bus stops. Cafe Domestique is graciously donating coffee for our meet up spot - please bring your own mug.

If you are specifically interested in supporting efforts at Demetral Park, please register with the City to join their Parks Earth Day Challenge!

Collected trash can be disposed of at the following pick up points:

-Demetral Park Shelter (place in or near shelter trash cans)

-Eken Park (place in trash cans or at curb by park sign)

-Washington Manor Park (place in trash cans or at curb by park sign)

When you are done, head over to Northstreet for their Earth Day Fair happening Saturday 4/26/25 from 10:00AM-2:00PM.

3) Neighborhood Liaison with Madison Police Dept:

Officer Matt Armbruster with the City of Madison Police Dept is the assigned liaison officer for Eken Park. I am just reaching out to provide you with my work email, marmb...@cityofmadison.com and my work cell, 608-535-7851, should anyone have questions or information they'd like to report to a police officer.

4) Yard Sale is coming up

The NSNA Yard Sale will be on Saturday June 7th, with a rain date of Saturday June 14th. We'll have more info in May.
