We've got announcements from our Greenspace Committee, Festival Committee, our alder, and the Red Cross. 

Thanks to everyone who attended our June meeting -- we'll announce the results of the neighborhood improvement grants at our July meeting. 

Greenspace Committee Planting Opportunity

Greenspace is looking for volunteers this coming week to help with the spring prep of some of the Eken Park spaces.

• Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30 pm
  Washington Manor Park Sign (North Oak between Dahle and Coolidge)
  Planting, mulching and relocating some bulbs
  
  
• Wednesday, June 11 at 6:30 pm
  Eken Park sign/butterflies at East Washington and East Johnson
  Weeding/thinning and general clean-up

If you are interested in helping but those dates/times don't work out, contact green...@northstreetna.org. We still have a little work to do at the historical marker and the median on Oak. Happy to work with you to find a time to work on those if you are interested.

Eken Park Festival 2025 is back in Eken Park on Saturday, August 16th.  

This fun, family-friendly event only comes together with the hard work of volunteers. There are a variety of important jobs that need to be filled. Please consider signing up! If you won't be around the day of the event, there are flyering opportunities in the weeks before the event.
