Degree Conferral Date

Can we have a consensus on the degree conferral date please?

I talked to a couple of seniors and they said 06/2007. Is there any
rational behind using 08? I mean in all probability the 8th sem result
will not be released by then, let alone the degree.

I dunno, 06 se it seems like you dont knw, because its unreasonable ki
degree tabhi mil jaayegi...

well thats my take, please do talk to seniors and post some reliable
info tht we can all follow.

We fill in the end date as 06/07 and degree conferral date too as 06/07? U get ur degree as soon as u get out of college? I think 08/07 should be better.

lets not speculate, like i said i mailed two seniors this is wht they
said. and i am willing to go with it. you guys mail the alumni ur in
touch with, and lets see wht comes of it...

That's all fine guys, but a couple people told me that we wont get 'proof' of our degrees as certified by DU for atleast 6 months after we graduate. Dunno if this is just a rumor, could someone clarify? Coz as far as I know,  a lot of univs ask for some kind of proof of your degree.

ok look it doesnt matter what you write really, coz all tht matters is
tht before the end of your first year, you need to submit all the
documents.... thats it...

so its not like if you say a date, they will start hounding u after
tht...

as far as I know ur required to submit ur transcripts and degree before u give ur second semester/frst year examinations....definitely not at the time of joining......and believe me if theyve had students from delhi university before they will know......
