First of all, may I introduce myself? I am Kannawee Suebsuk, a budget analyst, working at the Bureau of the Budget. You can call me 'Pew' or 'P Pew' -- if you born after 30 July 1975.
I did not meet all of you at the orientation day, as I now am away from Thailand.
Now I'm in the UK. Does anyone want me to get you any UK sim card? I will be back to BKK on 22 May 2011. If you want, please tell me which service provider you prefer.
My recommendation is Lebara:
Call to landline for 1 p/minute
Call to mobile for 6p/minute
Call to any UK landline/mobile for 10 p/minute
Lebara to Lebara free for 250 minute/month

I can top-up the credit for you if you want. Just tell me.
(N'Kaew, I have already ordered you a sim card naja.)
See you soon.
Best wishes
Pew
I will try to get a free sim card for you naka. But it is just a sim card, you will need to top-up for the credit naka, the minimum is 5 GBP, and no time limit ka. The more you call, the more you pay ka. It is like One2Call or Happy in Thailand. In the UK, it calls PAYG (Pay As You Go) ka and the credit will not have any time limit. My husband used to top-up his mobile for 5 GBP every 6 months. So the whole year he paid only 10 GBP.
If you want me to put the credit on the sim card, I will add 5 GBP first. Then, when you arrive at Heathrow, you can call back to home. Alternatively, you can do it by yourself at any supermarket.
Forgot to say that I never have any problem of bringing the mobile from Thailand to use in the UK ka.
Best wishes
Pew
