Dear all :)

The Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), my office, will host the TIJ Youth Forum on Justice and the Rule of Law 2015 from 3-5 June 2015 in Bangkok,Thailand. This event will bring together Asian undergraduate students from over the world to discuss and exchange their views on the rule of law and development issues. TIJ will provide hotel accommodation for applicants, and also sponsor travel costs for those whose essay paper is selected.

If you know any students who might be interested, please help spread the word!

We would like to invite students from all university in Asian region to join the TIJ Youth Forum on Justice and the Rule of Law 2015, organised by Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) in cooperation with Asian Society of International Law (AsianSIL).

TIJ Youth Forum aims to promote better understanding of the Rule of Law and the interrelationship between the Rule of Law and sustainable development in Asian society.

We are glad to welcome all Asian undergraduate students from any faculties and schools who have been actively involved in the Rule of Law issues or those who are interested in exploring more on the importance of the Rule of Law to join our first Youth Forum on Justice and the Rule of Law which is going to be held on the date of  3-5 June 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The participants will have an opportunity to;

·        Join the exclusive AsianSIL Inter-sessional Regional Conference 2015 attended by internationally reputable figures
· Exchange opinions and experiences on the Rule of Law related issues through various group discussion
· Foster new friendship among students from all over Asian countries through cultural exchange activities

Additionally, we also prepare non-academic activities such as welcome dinner, touring attractive places in Bangkok, cultural night, etc. During the forum, an accommodation with great facilities are prepared for all participants

For whom may be interested to participate in, there are 2 ways to submit application as follows;

1. Conventional Track
Requested documents;

-          CV
2. Call-for-paper Track*
Requested documents;
-          Essay paper on the topic of Rule of Law and Development Nexus: A new Deal for Asia? (Word limit 800 – 1,000 words)
-          Application Form

*under the Call-for-paper Track, regarding their submitted essay, the participants will gain the privilege of the Airfare Sponsored.

Please submit the application form together with your CV or an essay paper within 11 May 2015, the announcement dated on 14 May 2015,to be a part of our TIJ Youth Forum with 60 students from all over Asian region.
