sob query

Hi,

I've been experimenting with the nsdci components and finding them
very cool to use. I do have one query in relation to the sob server
and client. If I send an image e.g. jpg to the sob server I can then
retrieve it later. But if I try to view that file via some other jpg
viewer it says it's not a valid jpg. Does the sob server store binary
files in a different format?
