February 7th: STEM Career Day @ STEM Institute of Manhattan

JOIN the NSBE Professionals NYC Chapter on Friday, February 7th in supporting the STEM Institute of Manhattan STEM Career Day!

Purpose: 

To provide students with an opportunity to learn about the world of STEM careers. To show students how their school work relates to and prepares them for work as an adult.

Getting to the STEM Institute of Manhattan:
Our school is easily accessible by subway (2, 3, B, C, to 110th St. or 116th St.) or bus (M2, M10, M102, M18, M116). The school entrance is located towards 7th Ave (Adam Clayton Powell). You will need ID to sign into the building and you will be directed to the school auditorium.  We ask that you arrive by 8:45 am.

Overview of the Day:

9:00 am: Opening Assembly

9:15 am: Group breakouts (Grs. K-1, Grs. 2-3, and Grs. 4-5). Each group will have 3-4 speakers with approx. 15-20 minutes to present and answer questions. 

10:30 am: Wrap up
