Ikeep receiving this error when I am attempting to print. I previously changed the maintenance kit on this M 602 machine. After changing this kit I started receiving this issue. Is this a common issue?
41.02 error on this printer is a laser/scanner error. If the message does not clear, then you need to replace the laser/scanner. If you are not getting a 41.02 error, then report back with the correct number. The 05 does not mean anything.
The only other thing I can think of is the toner cartridge. The error is a beam detect and 99% of the time the issue is the laser/scanner. I guess if the shutter on the toner cartridge is not working you could get the error. The next hardware item would be the dc controller which controls the laser/scanner. Actually here is updated info I have found.
I have two of these machines in my office one of which is throwing up error codes 41.02.23 and 41.02.05, i cant find a link to determine what they are relevant to, the closest ive found was that the 41.02.23 error was to do with the laser, so ive cleaned around the laser housing where there was a little excess toner. Any clues as to what the 41.02.05 is?
Okay, so have you maxed out the sleep setting on this machine? Also, is it possible to swap out the fuser from the "good" machine into the "bad" machine? Try a large job on the machine with the "good" known fuser once you have swapped it out, and see if there is a difference.
Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help. The error relates to print engin error. The best option would be to have the machine inspected at a repair centre where they can do some more fault finding for you.hope this will help.
The control-panel messages and event code errors indicate the current product status or situations that might require action.
NOTE: Event log errors do not appear on the control-panel display. Access the event log to view or print the event log errors.
Control-panel messages appear temporarily and might require that you acknowledge the message by pressing the OK button to resume printing or by pressing the Stop button to cancel the job. With certain messages, the job might not finish printing or the print quality might be affected. If the message is related to printing and the auto-continue feature is on, the product will attempt to resume printing after the message has appeared for 10 seconds without acknowledgement.
