Associate Software Engineer

Assists in development and design of new software products; assists in maintenance and support of existing software products; learns to perform technical edits of documentation Maintains high quality standards while still developing software on schedule Assists testers and customer service with problem resolution and troubleshooting, as needed. Provides lower level expertise on specific technical areas

Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (ideally computer science or engineering), or equivalent experience 0 months- 1 year related software development experience Experience reading and translating specifications and technical documents Typically familiar with 1 to 3 relevant areas of expertise; skills required for particular tasks may include, database design, C++, C#, "Visual Studio", ASP.NET, AJAX, Javascripts, Objective-C, Web Services (REST and SOAP) client-side and server-side web development, additional skills may include Java, XML, Struts, JSP, J2EE, JMS, .NET, Eclipse, SQL, JBoss, Tomcat, OO Design, development, testing and integration skills Approaches tasks with analytical perspective; ability to meet multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
