Hello everyone,

I am trying to perform multicasting over wireless mesh networks. Does
anyone have any idea how to do it?

Thanks

Hi
In order to activate the mulicast option you should modify the
set ns [new Simulator]  ===> set ns [new Simulator -multicast on]

good luck

Hi Anas,

Thanx for replying.

Will the multicast option work for wireless protocols? I thought it
was only for wired networks. I am not sure. I am still learning ns2.
And can this multicast option be used with any routing protocols?

thanx

hi all

can anybody tell me how to activate unicast option in wireless
protocols? when we write set ns [new Simulator] is it unicast or
multicast by default?
