'message' packets in tracefile.

to Network Simulator 2 (NS2)

I am working on performance analysis of mac-802.11 in ns-2.

I am using wired-cum-wireless network with DSDV as routing protocol.

In the tracefile I see 'message' packets.

I believe they are obstacle in analyzing the tracefile accurately. Can I suppress these messages? if yes then how?
