hello, 
please I need help in simulating RFID, i wonder if it possible to do simulation of RFID with NS2 and how can i do it.
Unless there are any other platforms suitable to do this.

I'm really in need of your help

Getting the files : $ git clone https://github.com/lynus/ns2-RFID

* I will try making the files into an "easy usable patch" .... later.

thanks for your feedback, in deed , i installed the RFID ns-2 module http://ccsl.ime.usp.br/pt-br/rfid-module-ns-2-simulator
but it doesn't work!!  any idea!!!

.. The file is attached as "rfid-perazzo.tcl".  Using : $ ns rfid-perazzo.tcl rfid.tr 100

The link http://ccsl.ime.usp.br/pt-br/rfid-module-ns-2-simulator  .. is currently down.
Can you attach the code, preferably as <name>.tar.gz, e.g. rfid-reader.tar.gz ?
And please tell which ns2 version you are using.

The edited "lynus code" from https://github.com/lynus/ns2-RFID
.. is attached as  "rfid-ns235-files-1.tar.gz".
Using : cd ns-allinone-2.35/ && tar xvf rfid-ns235-files-1.tar.gz && ./install

Six hours later : The "ccsl.ime.usp.br/pt-br/" link was up again : I got the code, ns-2_rfid-master.zip.
No issues at building ns-allinone-2.35 with the "rfidReader" code.
The tcl example `rfid.tcl´ has some typos :   Missing some many semicolons's ( ; ).
The edited file works OK.   Is attached as rfid-read_perazzo-2.tcl .
The simulation $ ./ns rfid-read_perazzo-2.tcl rfid.tr 100
...  created the file 'rfid.tcl' , 2.6 MB.

A file "rfid.tcl" is actually included in  "ns-2_rfid-master.zip" :
ns-2.35/cenarios/testes/{ rfid_2.tcl  rfid2.tcl  rfid.tcl }.
..... But this "cenarios/testes/rfid.tcl" is a different file size.
→ Might be different from the other one ?

*** The directory ns-2.35/cenarios/ :  Total file count = 947.    (  $ ls -R cenarios/ | wc  ).

thank you a lot for your feedbacks, i egally executed the "rfid.tcl" and it ok . do you mean a file "rfid.tr" was created?
i haven't yet tested the new version of "ns-2_rfid-master.zip", but i'm trying to work in the file "rfid.tcl" in order to simulate the binary tree algorithm of anticollision in RFID.

How to run the file(s) "rfid*.tcl :   Make a new empty folder with a copy of rfid.tcl only.
Run the simulation :  $ cd new-folder/
$ ns rfid.tcl rfid.tr 100
... and watch the file rfid.tr being created.

I did it and it works very well, what i mean is that i'm trying to use the same code rfid.tcl with some modification in order to simulate other anticollision algorithms of RFID.

this code don't support the binary tree anticollision, and i'm in need of simulation of these algorithms.
i wonder if i can modify only in "rfid.tcl" or i have to modify in files  /ns-allinone-2.35/ns-2.35/apps .
can you help me

Did you find a solution to include new anti collision algorithm to the existing code?
