Is it fare to apply MANET algorithm to VANET :Ant Colony

Hi,

I am trying to get the optimal path from source to destination to route the vehicle in VANET using Ant colony optimization.

Is it ok, if i use package AntHocNet to do this?

Generally there seems no problems by changing the protocol to AntHocNet in Manet simulations.

I am not able to understand your answer. Are you talking about changing the AntHocNet for VANET? Or just simply apply AntHocNet for VANET?

That's why the Manet ex were used. 

Please read ... and test the examples in "ex-manet6/AntHocNet/".

If AntHocNet can be used in random examples, I guess you can use the AntHocNet protocol in your Manet/Vanet simulation.

some one confirm me that can we use the same code for different simulation tools i.e. omnet++, opnet, ns3 qualnet etc
