coot in smelt brook March 30

Happy Saturday,

Apologies it's a little late reporting but my neighbour Rick Reid who is an excellent birder but does not report had a Coot in smelt brook on March 30th.

It was on the private property that adjoins to his property which he has permission to walk on.  

There is a bridge with a large piece of Smelt Brook that flows directly into Cow Bay Lake and he saw the Coot by the bridge.

Has not been resighted.  I couldn't post to eBird as it was not my sighting but thought it would be of interest.
