Birders,
Not NS, but a beyond incredible record of a Steller's Sea-Eagle was found near Tide Head, NB, on Gillis Island on the Restigouche River. First reported by Forest Condo, a Listuguj Mi'gmaq Fisheries ranger June 28th. Reconfirmed by Andrew Olive evening of June 29th with photos. Approximate coordinates of observation. 47.997264, -66.767990
Given the bubble opens tomorrow, I thought it good to post here. Outside of going to far eastern Russia, or northern Japan in winter, the possibility to see this species is very limited.
