Water Festival Organizing call invitation Wed. May 28th at 6pm

I hope you are all doing well! As a Atlantic Canada Project WET Facilitator, I am looking to start an Annual Water Festival with the first one being this July.  

This will hopefully be to celebrate the New Provincial Lake Appreciation Month!

Here are some of the loose details to get started. 

Date: July hopefully on a Sunday

Where: Halifax or Truro area, but open to discussion

Who: We are thinking it would be amazing to run a dual event with training educators in the am for Foundations & Water and Earth Systems - then in the afternoon have those educators help run the activities for the water festival completing the 6 hours required for 2 manuals and also get practical experience.

We are reaching out to all of you as a great amount of support is needed from our Atlantic coordinators.  Not only to help facilitate the training but to help run the activities at the water festival itself with the newly trained individuals.

We would love to have you all join us for a virtual meeting on Wed. May 28th at 6pm Atlantic time. To see who is available to help and nail down some details.

We will record this meeting as well for anyone who cannot make it but is still interested in being a part of the event.
