Wifi timing

Hi,

I'm studying DCF timing of wifi network. I'm using udp, 802.11n, 5GHz, 58.5Mbps in the simulation. 

I changed both cwmin and cwmax to 1. But when I analyse the pcap file, I found that the congestion window is actually 1 or 2. Is this the result I should get? I was expecting the congestion window to be 1 in this case.

Another question is, whether ACK is using the same MCS as data in NS-3 simulation? If it is using a different MCS, how is it implemented?How long would it take to transmit an ACK?
