Hi,
We are trying to setup a LoRa network and planning to use ns3 to evaluate its performance before deployment. We've searched different websites but haven't found any ns3 implementation of LoRa. Does anyone know if there is implementation somewhere or is someone currently working on it? Thanks in advance.

Hi Thomas,
I think one possibility is adapting the current Wifi to LoRA by using low data rates. However can you provide information on how can we use low data rates below (386Kbps) on a wifi module, as I can see the minimum is 1Mbps?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Junaid

Hi,
no, lowering the data rate would be something extremely wrong.
The two standards are completely different, it would be like to compare a Ferrari to a Nissan Micra by limiting Ferrari's speed and acceleration. It's just plainly wrong.

hi , there are no such Lora modules in NS3, for running or building any Lora codes, we need to enabled and install the LoRa in NS3. there are some steps to enabled those in NS3 after that we can work on LoRa... thanks
