running uan-cw-example.cc on animation interface

i'm sorry if this topic has already discussed before, i wanna run project uan-cw-example.cc in NetAnim but it always failed. i've already copy the file into "scratch" folder and it still failed. please your advises, comments and helps.

is it possible run file or sample project (uan-cw-example.cc) on NetAnim? as i know, we can run sample project (ex:third.cc) on NetAnim with we have to generate xml file first. so, can we do same on uan-cw-example.cc?

For what I remember, I wrote a preliminar implementation of NetAnim some time ago..

I've managed to run NetAnim with an UAN example scenario, and I was able to see packets flowing from a node to another.

I don't remember anything about an XML file and, probably, the NetAnim interface has been extended and my implementation is not longer complete.

I can take a look at the code and give you an update tomorrow. In the meantime, can you give me some logs of the errors you are getting, while using NetAnim with uan?

this is my error (picture attached) when i tried ./waf --run src/uan/examples/uan-cw-example and ./waf --run scratch/uan-cw-example. 

can you brief or give me some steps how it will work fine? or maybe, another clues that related with my problems.

Hi Reza,
it seems you are getting a compilation failure... The compilator cannot find the uan-cw-example.h header. Try this:
- remove *all* the files you have copied to the scratch directory
- invoke a waf build and be sure to get no compilation error
- try to run the uan-cw-example with "./waf --run uan-cw-example" or "./waf --run src/uan/examples/uan-cw-example"
- try to run the uan net anim example with "./waf --run uan-animation" or "./waf --run src/netanim/examples/uan-animation"

If everything will work fine, you can then start modifying the uan-animation source.
If you want to copy an example source file to the scratch folder you must include the header file (renaming them) and be sure the compilation give no errors.

I want to ask how to place output from running program uan-cw-example.cc to txt file? It's like a trace file in NS2. Can you brief me about that?
