Dear all,

The DCE 1.5 was released with the latest ns-3 release 3.22.
The release only includes a couple of bug fixes though I
would recommend to update .

All the installations are provided by bake as usual. please
find more information below.

http://www.nsnam.org/overview/projects/direct-code-execution/dce-1-5/

% bake.py configure -e dce-ns3-1.5
or
% bake.py configure -e dce-linux-1.5
% bake.py download
% bake.py build

and, as always, any suggestions or feature requests are, of
course, welcome !

have a nice day.

Hi Hajime.
Thanks for the release; I've been awaiting it.
Running Ubuntu 14.10 32 bit, gcc 4.9.1, with all dependencies installed but still limited success in making it play nice.

Compilation fails below:
model/libc.cc.103.o: In function `snprintf':
...   dce/source/ns-3-dce/build/../model/libc.cc:142: undefined reference to `__stack_chk_fail_local'

model/libc-setup.cc.103.o: In function `setup_global_variables':
...  dce/source/ns-3-dce/build/../model/libc-setup.cc:38: undefined reference to `__stack_chk_fail_local'

Hi,

As stated in the release note and the web page, I didn't
test with Ubuntu 14.10 32 bits environment. My current test
farm consists of the following distributions.

Ubuntu 10.04 64bit
Ubuntu 12.04 32bit/64bit
Ubuntu 13.04 64bit
Ubuntu 14.04 64bit
Fedora 18 32bit
CentOS 6.2 64bit

the particular error you faced indicates DCE needs to follow
the latest glibc update, with an additional symbol
definition to be compiled successfully.
