can you help me ?please

I want to emulate the multi-hop WSN , and I have complete the configuration of the PHY and MAC layer with LRWPAN module ,may I connect the routing protocol with the MAC layer directly without any InternetStack (IPV4 OR IPV6)?

Further more ,May I install the DSR routing protocol on the LRWPAN nodes ?
