Hi, I'm an undergrad student at Universidade Federal do Pará and i'm currently working on a scenario with several UE nodes and ENBs.
I want to perform a handover where one of the parameters (but not the only one) is the SINR value of both the currently connected cell
and the neighbor ones, I can obtain the connected one through the trace file DlRsrpSinr.txt, but so far I can't get the value for
the other cells, is there a way to access these values?

Hi,

Please read the documentation
There are at least two Handover mechanisms that relate to signal strength / quality of the eNBs.

Thanks for the tip, i see that most of these handover algorithms use a struct called measResults to obtain its data, is there a way I can just get the RSRP  parameter for an specific tower, from my UE in simulation time, without actually connecting to it?

Again, I would recommend to study the documentation and some of the references within on what these measResults are.
Just a quote from the documentation:
"The strongest cell handover algorithm, or also sometimes known as the traditional power budget (PBGT) algorithm, is developed using [Dimou2009] as reference. The idea is to provide each UE with the best possible Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP). This is done by performing a handover as soon as a better cell (i.e. with stronger RSRP) is detected."

How does this differ from what you want to do?

I see, thanks a lot for the attention.

Hi Konstantinos,
Sorry for waking this old thread up. I'm curious if any function can be added in the handover script just to get the SINR values (with connecting and neighbour cells)?
For example, ReportCurrentCellRsrpSinr seems able to get SINR, but could the handover scripts call it or require some other modifications?

Thanks.
