ns-3 simulation result VS real-world simulation result

Hi all,

I used the NS-3's first.cc and star.cc to simulate the P2P with UDP and P2P with TCP.

Then, i used iperf on the physical system which is same configuration with first.cc and star.cc.

However, the result on the physical system is much different than simulation result with NS-3 .

Can the NS-3's simulation result reach a certain accuracy of the physical's result?

what's happen in this situation??

That's a really interesting experiment. Could you please describe the hardware setup in more detail, and show the data you are comparing?
