So it seems this tutorial (https://www.nsnam.org/wiki/HOWTO_Use_Linux_Containers_to_set_up_virtual_networks) is now out of date. The Linux containers don't seem to want to startup with IPs you've assigned in via the config files.
Is there a way to do what this tutorial does in the current versions of LXC or should I downgrade to a version that allows this?

Let's upgrade the HOWTO instead of downgrading systems. I'll work on it
this week but anyone is welcome to send suggested updates.
