facing cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line option "-std=c++11"

Hi,
 while i try to install ns-allinone3.26 .i got error as below
[ 843/1727] Compiling src/uan/model/uan-phy-gen.cc
cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line option "-std=c++11"

cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line option "-std=c++11"

Waf: Leaving directory `/home/project/ns-allinone-3.26/ns-3.26/build'

i am using fedora 14 and gcc version is 4.5.1 20100924 (Red Hat 4.5.1-4) (GCC) .
 is it possible to give solution for this ..

Please give more info. Most importantly if you did change the build scripts in any way and/or if you're using any custom option for the compilation.

PS: are you sure you didn't miss a "-" or you didn't use a dash instead of a minus ?

Just i have downloaded ns-allinone-3.26 versikn package from nsnam release and extract and i gave cd ns-allinone-3.26 and then ./build.py 

While giving  this i got the error ..i didn't change anything inside the package ..

Right. Sorry, I didn't check the GCC version number.

Your OS is too old, you need a newer one with a newer compiler.

I fear you'll have to upgrade your Fedora.
