NS-3.26 Build failed

Hello,

I am trying to install NS-3.26 however I am unable to build and enable the examples/tests using build.py file.

I am using Ubuntu 18.04 on Oracle Virtual Box.

Can anyone help me with this?

That was a syntax bug fixed in later versions of ns-3. Please change
that line (node.cc line 70) to:

TypeId::ATTR_GET | TypeId::ATTR_SET,

Hey,

I think you have newer version of gcc. I think use the gcc5.5, you can have multiple version of gcc in the same system. You can use the most updated information : 

https://www.nsnam.org/wiki/HOWTO_build_old_versions_of_ns-3_on_newer_compilers
