i am new to NS3, tried reading few modules and examples, tried modifying vanet-routing-compare.cc for only wave messages and related parameters with a different SUMO trace file.
The code runs with BSM pdr value zero for the whole simulation.
Not sure what is the issue. Would really appreciate any suggestions / help.

I think you have disabled its wifiphy, if it is disabled enable it;

I think the wifiPhy is enabled , but to ensure that its working fine i have tried to modify the code by following the link https://www.nsnam.org/docs/models/html/wave.html. Attached is the edited file.
Still the code runs with zero bsm values for whole simulation time. ( ns3.30.1) . Any suggestions?

The code works , when ipv4 was Assigned to the devices.
But i am still confused vanet-routing-compare.cc did not assigned Ipv4 and still worked .
