Hello,

People said Quic is better than TCP.
So when i compare quic+BulkSend and TCP+BulkSend,
BulkSend with quic should be bettter than with TCP.
But the result shows the opposite.
I mean BulkSend with TCP is better than with QUIC.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Is it because BulkSend is made for TCP?

Thank you

Which QUIC module are you using, and under what link condition?

The BulkSend performance depends largely on the congestion control algorithm (CCA). The current default CCA of TCP in ns-3 (after 3.33 I guess) is Cubic, whereas some QUIC modules only implement NewReno. QUIC+NewReno may not be as good as TCP Cubic.

The performance also depends on many other parameters, for example the send/recv buffer size.
