How to implement SCTP on NS-3 or LENA

Dear all,

Has the SCTP module been implemented on NS-3 until now? If not, how
can I implement the SCTP on NS-3 or Lena?
Hopefully somebody can tell me how many files should I add into the
NS-3 or which files should be modified on the current src code.

Anything else could you add as guidance, besides the pointer to the GSOC project pl? particularly refering to the following, vis-a-vis, NS-3 Classes:

"An SCTP implementation would have to comply with the IPv4 and IPv6 layers and have programming APIs toward the application layer similar to the ones defined in the available SCTP implementations for Linux. "

I don't have any specific suggestion, note that I am no expert on the
ns-3 transport layer implemention, and that the SCTP GSoC proposal was
mentored by Tommaso (not me).
If you really don't know where to start, may I suggest to have a look
at the TCP and UDP implementation of ns-3.

2. I am already studying the TCPReno and UDP implementations in NS-3 and am working on the design of SCTP, to start with some basic features, and then extend the code.

3. Surely, I will touch base with Tomasso.
