Hello,
I'm new to ns3.30 and I'm trying to build ns3 after installation.  I also tried with ns3.35 and 3.36 versions   but I always get this error. Any advice on how to solve it? I tried different solutions out there but I didn't manage to solve it. Thank you.build error.png

I followed this guide to install ns-3.36. I hope this can help you.

Hi,
Seems like it cannot find Python3.
Try to run “sudo apt install python3”.
Make sure you have installed the packages needed to build ns-3, otherwise it will be failing.

ns<=3.35 uses waf instead of the ns3 script.
ns>=3.36 uses the ns3 script (CMake wrapper).
Did you clone the ns-3-allinone repo? If you did, you probably need to search the matching commit to the ns-3 version you're trying to build.
If you downloaded the tarball, I would expect build.py to work normally.

You don't need qmake, instead use "sudo apt install NetAnim" and access your NetAnim folder through proper directory.
Try it hope so will work for you aswell.
