Pause transmission after tranmitting a particular packet

Hi,

I am trying to halt the router or stop it from transmitting packets for a certain time after transmitting a particular packet.

I am assuming there are packets in the queue. I want to hold them in the queue for a little longer(The queue can also become larger in the mean time)
