Dear all,

I have done a project in NS-2 mac-802.11 about a year ago. However, I would like to improve my project and I've decided to use NS-3 for that, but I have only couple of months to complete the project. I already read the entire tutorial, hence I'm a little bit familiar with the simulator.

Nevertheless, at this situation, I know that I can't go through the entire codes in the simulator. Therefore it would be nice if any of you who already works on 802.11 MAC suggests me the necessary modules, I must go through. In other words, in NS-2, I had to use only mac-802.11.cc and mac-timers. cc which were in the mac folder, what would that be in NS-3? And which classes should I check to identify how the packets are sent and received? Thank you in advance. Kindly do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Regards,
Sair

It is, but it's possible that nobody present can answer your question.
