Hello Everyone,

By when we can expect handover support in 5G?

Hi,
It may be a trivial question for you, but please understand that many researchers suffer because of it.
(I'm just a user. So please focus on the dev team's answer.)

In any case, ns-3 is a difficult tool for all but those who use their own brains.
You are welcome to learn and contribute to ns-3, not just expect others.

Thanks for the input Kent. I had gone through the recent posts and since NR branch is in active development felt the need of asking. In any case thanks for your response.

Hopefully by the end of the year. There is still a lot of stuff to do to get there.

Hi All, I think I have found a way to simulate handover in 5G with mmwave module. I have run test "mmwave/example/mc-twoenbs-ipv6.cc" and seems to be using the
x2 interface and performing handover in lower layers with AttachMcToClosestEnb() function.

let me know your comments.
