Hi all
 
I am new to NS-3 and I downloaded the manual to start reading it. But there are several stuff that confused me that I would really to find the answers for them here: l
 
Regarding the modules that are inside the ns3, can I use them ? if yes how ? Can I modify them

Hi,

start from the tutorial, not from the manual... the manual is not that user friendly (just because we assume that the users do the tutorial first, and some concepts are explained there).

I will start by the tutorial. But about my question about the modules? this thing really confuses me.

Hi,

it's in the tutorial.

The answer is: yes, you can use them and modify them.
Use: you use them all the time. E.g., you adda wifi interface to a node? You're using the wifi module.
Changing: well, the sources are there. Open them and modify them. You'll need a good understanding of ns-3, C++ and the standard the module is implementing tho.
