Create multiple nodes

Good morning all, I’m very new to this so sorry if this is a very simple question. I am trying to create a mesh WiFi system with about 6 nodes and i would like to control the data rate, packet size , number of packets, throughput, loss, etc of all nodes separately and monitor the output. Can someone suggest a file to modify or tell the particular part of code for creating, controlling and monitoring several nodes? Thank you in advance!

The only thing you can't control directly is the loss, as it depends on the channel between two nodes (i.e., their distance), not by the specific node. 

For everything else, I'd strongly suggest to read the tutorial first, it will explain how to proceed.
